We will be providing an array of Tin Roof beer cans for you to choose from and then you can fill them up with 3 succulent starters. We will also have lots of sappy decorations for you to accessorize your planter with! The event is come and go as you please, stay for a beer and tacos, and make an arrangement. Come indulge in your love of craft beer and flip flops on Friday February 22nd starting at 7p.m. and going on into the night. Each racer will receive an entry packet containing an official Fat Boy Flip Flop .5K t-shirt and racing decal; drink special race card, wrist band and other awesome swag. The 15th annual Zapp’s International Beerfest will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 3:30 until 6:00 pm. More than 200 foreign and domestic beers, ales and homebrews will be made available for tasting during this popular annual event benefiting the LSU Rural Life Museum. This fun filled afternoon is for patrons aged 21 years and older. Tin Roof will be out pouring some oldies but goodies and some newbies. Stop by and check us out. After the death of his mother, Betty, from breast cancer in 1999, New Kids On The Block member Danny Wood searched for a way to keep her memory alive. Unsatisfied with the status quo of larger breast cancer charities, Danny ventured out to make Remember Betty a 501c3 organization. There was an immediate and impactful rally of support from donors and volunteers who had grown weary of donations going to pay excessive CEO salaries instead of in to programs that helped their loved ones and neighbors. Remember Betty's mission is to help minimize the financial burden associated with breast cancer for patients & survivors by providing direct financial support to them so that they can focus on recovery & quality of life. Tin Roof will be hosting the 2019 Battle of The Canvas. Established in 2010, by curator simóne j banks, the Battle Of The Canvas® was developed as a public art project while living in Philadelphia with the purpose to create a live art experience for the city. The mission has always been - Collaborate To Elevate - with the vision for the Battle Of The Canvas® to always remain an inclusive arts event that showcases the power of visual and performing arts while implementing social change and community growth. Now, the project has evolved into a pop-up live painting competition, with a vision to host the event in different cities globally, becoming a more intentional platform for artists to be seen, supported and experienced.
